Something like this in a k2 v2
Something like this in a k2 v2
well, of course you can. this is a DIY project. It looks pretty involved. Here is the documentation: http://stealthchanger.com:8080/ It is designed for the Voron printer. The K2 is not a gantry type of design. I do not think it would be possible to adapt a K2 to this technology, but something out of the Ender or Hi series could work. Also, think about the cost of having a hot end and extruder for every color of filament.
What about the prusa xl and the cheap snapmaker U1. I wasnt asking for an upgrade to v1, but rather a new setup for v2.
Toolchangers are the only thing beating bambu
@Jessie_james1 Oh, I thought you specifically meant the stealthchanger. Yes, I agree. A tool changer really seems to be the missing piece on Creality printers. There are so many problems with the CFS, offering multiple tool heads would be a most elegant solution.
Toolchanger coming for Core One
The volume of waste on the CFS is crazy. It would be awesome to get a K3 that is a tool changer. I love Creality printers and would prefer to buy a Creality rather than a Snapmaker. Any body hear if Creality is even thinking about one?
i would be happy already with a nozzle changer and not the whole tool, even though i like the indx system, i wouldn’t enjoy having 8 spools spread around, so something like the vortek for 4 nozzles (5 slots), but with 4 ptfe tubes coming out of the CFS and a buffer closer to the tool head would be the sweet spot for me
