I just bought a Ferret Pro scanner, and I find the 8g of RAM is not enough. My video card is also not good enough. I’m looking at buying a new computer and I am wondering if a laptop, with the right requirements, is good enough for the capturing and processing from the scanner. I guess my question is, are laptops powerfull enough for this or do I need a desk top unit?
