Cannot connect my laser 10W laser to lightburn

I am coming to you all with the same question I have seen a lot of - how to connect to the lightburn software. Let me start by saying that I have updated to the windows 11 upgrade. I have contacted the light burn support and they are telling me to contact Creality. So I am trying this forum to see if someone can help me
I cannot get this thing to connect for anything. I have done these things

  • tried 3 different cables
  • tried 3 different laptops
  • updated the firmware
  • updated the driver
  • added the ports
  • restarted my computer multiple times
My problem is when I plug in my device it does not register in my device manager. I do have an exclamation mark by my port 3 with a message “no connection Windows cannot determine the settings for this device. Consult the documentation that came with this device and use the Resource tab to set the configuration. (Code 34)”

If someone has any insight, I would surely appreciate it!

I had the same issue with the MAC connection to the Falcon 2 22W.
I tried cable after cable and finally an old USB type A to USB-C converter to a USB-C on the MAC to the USB-A, through the converter to the Falcon.
UIt did not work with the suplied USB-TypeA to USB-C converter.

You just need to buy a cheap one.

I will try it this evening. I even tried a HDMI cord to USB C.
