I have the Ender-3 S1 Pro, and I’ve set up an OctoPrint server for it. OctoPrint is working great, sending prints and returning data, and I can use it via web UI on my home LAN.
Now I want to send prints to it from Creality Print (v7.1.1.4472). I don’t want to go through Creality Cloud, I’m expecting this should work locally on the LAN without any account logins. I did install the Creality Cloud plugin in OctoPrint, but I suspect that shouldn’t even be necessary.
In the Device section of Creality Print, I manually added a new “other” printer of type “Octo/Klipper”. I gave it the IP address and API key, and the test connection is successful (screenshot #1). The new device appears in the sole device group (#2). I can click “Details” on that device, and the OctoPrint web UI loads in Creality Print (#3).
The trouble is when I slice the plate, then choose “Send print” (screenshot #4). There are no devices available to choose from. I’ve deleted and re-added the printer a bunch of times, restarted Creality Print and my whole PC, but the printer never shows up here.
So can anyone help me send a print to the printer? Thanks!
