So every time now that a retraction issue occurs, I’m noticing in the buffer the spring is locked back into place almost and I have to push it forward to release it. Has anyone else encountered this?
In my case sometimes, it’s locked even after pushing the button forward. Like nothing releases it other than disconnecting the PTFE tube, cutting the filament, and forcing a pull out. It’s ridiculous. I can’t pinpoint why and when this happens but sometimes pushing the button forward works and other times it doesn’t.
Check if the elektrical cable is fitted properly on the buffer.
Have had this a couple of times. When my filament is stuck on the roll and the printer keeps trying to get it to the extruder there is so much tension on the fillaments inside the ptfe tubes. I need to search somewhere to release the tensionor open the ptfe tubing most of the time i can get the ptfe tubes open on the extruder and then i can open the tube on the hub and then on the back of the cfs and the the one thats go inside the spring side of the hub. Only got it when using sunlu rolls the dont fit the bottom of the cfs and sometimes the dont retract to the roll and al the fillament comes back lose in the cfs then the lose fillaments blocks the other rol and get the same problem. Already have cut some ptfe tubing because it was disformed because of the tension and did not let the fillaments past anymore.
