I installed the upgrade kit for the Creality K1 Max to use the CFS and updated the firmware. I should point out that I had previously installed the Unicorn Quick Swap Hotend without any problems, and when I tried to print, I had no problems; the machine printed fine.
But after installing the kit, making all the connections, and inserting the Creality RFID spools into the CFS, I tried to test print with multicolor, but the printer always gives error fb2864, then xs2094, xs2001, xs2294, and xs3000. After this error, the K1 Max light goes out and it doesn’t accept any commands, but you can only turn off the printer.
Since I couldn’t print multicolor, I tried printing with a single filament after turning it off and on again, using an external spool. However, even then, it still wouldn’t let me print. The machine loads the filament properly, extruding, but before starting to print, it displays a message saying the filament is running low, prompting me to forget or reload. I tried both options, even extruding more filament or saying forget, but printing always pauses and the previous message keeps popping up.
I should point out that I’ve checked and rechecked both the assembly and the connections several times, but the machine always behaves the same way.
I made the following videos to demonstrate the abnormal behavior and find a solution to the problem.
