CFS for K1C

Were you able to get the ACE to work with the K1C?

Running a print farm with Resin printers would be nice but just as much work as injection molding. I think a multicolor filament system is definitely better at somethings than others, and for the average consumer it should be more than enough, if you are running a print farm id imagine youd have a better system in place or atleast more futureproof system (not anything from Anycubic at that)

I have not tried to connect the ACE to the K1C.

Not really. I would like to see what the net income is. I would think that any printer for commercial use that prints multicolor is going to be over $1k. I see some interesting multicolor concepts that color the filament as it goes through the print head. I also see some print heads that have 4 input ports so you could even mix the colors as they feed to get mor than just the 4 colors in the spools.

Is there a chance it will be enhanced to include drying capabilities like the Anycubic Kobra S1’s ACE Pro? That seems to be a totally logical enhancement for a printer that is designed to be able to print material like Nylon that requires drying.

I hear you. The upgrade is available in the UK, but not in the US. The testing excuse is BS. I think they are holding out for buyers for the K2.

I just saw that. Its mental that you guys got the kit and etc before we did. Can the CFS also dual as a filament dryer? I want to know if its worth saying bump it and bypassing the wait and getting the UK model

Here is some news. Creality has the CFS on sale with $0.00 shipping. I ordered it from the Creality site. OTOH, the kit to mount it shows, but stock is 0 so it can’t be ordered from Creality yet. However, looking at Amazon, the Creality K1 Series CFS Filament System Upgrade Accessory Kit for K1,K1C,K1 MAX,K1 SE 3D Printer, Multi Color Printing CFS Pack is available on Prime for $0.00 shipping. However, it will not arrive until sometime in May. I went ahead and ordered that from Amazon since the price was similar, unlike the CFS which was significantly higher on Amazon.
