Hi Cristian, the product team is conducting relevant testing and should release the adaptation function in the near future.

Has there been any dates released for the CFS for the K1c as i could really do with one too.

For the K1c adaptation, the earliest will be next year. The specific timeline is still uncertain, but the K1 series and Ender 3v3 series will be the first compatible models.

The 3v3 series will also work with this in the future? !!! I assume this will include the 3v3 KE?

I don’t have all the details yet, but I can confirm that we’re currently working on the K series integration. Once that’s done, we’ll have more info to share.

Thank you for the response. I’m debating on getting a K1c --as compared to possibly considering a Bambu Labs P1s which has AMS functionality already. But they don’t sell on Amazon–which is far easier for me to direct gift cards, etc. Will the K1 (in this case the K1c) integration be fully-functional or a difficult work-around in practice? Will it cause the loss of any functional building space (if there is a “poop shoot” workaround)? Just trying to see if I would regret a K1c purchase now with the anticipated CFS (? is that the correct term) adaptation at some point in the future?

Yes, it is CFS, Creality Filament System. I suggest you observe the reviews and feedback on CFS. If it meets your expectations, you can consider getting the K1c and wait for the subsequent CFS integration. However, regarding the specific details of CFS integration with the K series, I apologize as I am not part of the R&D team, so I don’t have that information at the moment.

I got an e-mail alert about the upcoming Creality Hi, which looks like an upgraded Ender 3 v3KE --with a new hotend, CFS, new OS on the system (looks like what the K2 looks like). This makes it look like it should not be too hard to add on the CFS to the K1c. Is there still no update for the upgrade option?

What makes the k1 max compatible with cfs comepares to the k1 or K1C?? As far as I know they are pretty much the same printer just configured differently.

The k1 series will be adapted to CFS, just need to upgrade your k1 printer.

has there been any news about the comatibility with k1c?

what upgrades? and will this be sold as a kit with the CFS?

Im curious as to what the upgrades will be? And how exactly will the CFS work with the K series to detect the different color and potentially types of filament used? Also how far in development is the project, as in when can we expect to hear anything concrete or big in terms of an announcement (iI know im asking alot here so I definitely understand if you guys have to keep things under wraps). Seeing the pictures from the CES booth has me excited for this.

I was at CES and saw it on a K1C. I wanted to take it home right then and there. I had asked when it would be available and was told ‘Soon’. Hopefully, it does happen quickly.

Man. Im so tired of the teasing :frowning: I need the CFS more than water at this point. I close my eyes and see a CFS next to my machine only to awake to disappoint and a beautiful K1C

I have the K1C and also the K3 with the ACE and the multi color thing is just BS. You end up with a 2 to 4 color print and almost as much waste in the “poop” bucket. I keep spools that I use the most in the ACE as it also has a dryer in it. I just chose the color I want to print and go with one color. Paint is your friend. AMS and ACE are just cute ideas. I liken the multi color 3d printers to the early days of color printing. We got a dot matrix printer that could print in colors RED, BLUE, YELLOW AND BLACK. Color prints needed much imagination to make them right. The K1C is faster than the Anycubic K3.
Bottom line is that if you want something to fiddle with go for the color printer…or save your money and just buy more spools for the printer of your choice and swap out the colors manually.
YMMV

Very true in most cases, maybe not so for a print farm.

I didn’t know we were talking about commercial use print farms. If I was running a farm, it would be in resin printers. I have a hard enough time just keeping these 2 printers running.
If I wanted to make stuff commercially, I would print molds and cast things in whatever works best.
I would need to see some stats before I was convinced a print farm using filament is a commercially viable endeavor.

Does this help ?

Cheers.
