I’m new here and thx to be a member of it. I have a problem with the upgrade. I mean. Installation went wel and everything is working except getting pla of my CFS in the nozzle. When it load pla from CFS it stop at the cutter I hear the extruder pushing but no pla is coming out the nozzle, so I can’t print!
When I decouple the cfs and take the side spool everything is working perfect. I can print with the side spool but not with the cfs. What can I do need help because I am already searching for a reason why. Thx and sorry for my pover English.
The installation package for the CFS is on the way and will be here by the 30th so I can’t say directly. However, one thing I would check is if the extruder is parking too far back and leaving the cutter lever depressed, blocking the nozzle opening. Check the calibration of the nozzle location for filament change.
The video shows the K1 Max, but the same principle applies to the K1/K1C/K1SE.
Also, the video mentions that the Bowden tube needs to run vertically into the extruder or there may be too much friction. If you haven’t done so, remove enough of the tube from the drag-chain so that it can run vertically into the extruder and either remove the lid or make a lid riser for more clearance. This one looks really nice and matches the original shape.
Thx for you’re reaction. at the moment it works now! What i have done is decouple the buffer and mounted on the back of the cfs instead of the back of K1 and the bowden tube is loose and go’s vertical in the extruder.
I did a reset again and redo everything and now it works.
What i see now is that i don’t have a purge line anymore before printing, i mak anothre threat for that i guess.
When i start print. The printer starts with calibating and… it don’t take PLA from CFS. Temperatur is ok to make a purge line but there is no pla in the extruder yet. so it wil make a line without PLA. when done with the fake line the hotbed goes down and then the extruder goes to the back and the PLA is coming from the CFS. then it cleans the nozzle, when done it starts direct the print! But in the first 2-3 seconds there is no PLA comming out of the nozzle, after a 2-3 seconds it does and printer is printing, but it is missing lenght of first layer
Strange if you ask me! what can be the reason of this behavior or what can i do?
