Cfs keeps losing communication k2 plus

My cfs keeps losing communication with the printer . i unplug the cfs and plug it back in and starts working again have changed the 485 cables also replaced the buffer

Did you unplug and plugin when the printer was powered on or off?

If you unplugged and plugged it in while the power was on tmyou could have damaged the printer mainboard

anytime I had problem I turned it off but after I lost signal but I have unplugged it while it was on and plugged it back in and it worked fine

I too had an issue very similar, ,the printer will boot and sometimes the CFS would be seen and other times it wouldn’t.. turns out the long communication wire from the bottom of the printer up to the CFS module got trapped and bent up, which pulled it out the socket while the printer was on. Ultimately I ordered an official coms lead off amazon and next day the printer has always seen the CFS module ever since. seems the cable is veeeery janky. Even on the packet of the cable it says do not unplug (hot swap) while the printer is switched on. hope this helps sir!

Also be aware they cable should lock in place.

If you pull on th connector and don’t push at the unlock tab they should not come out.
