CFS lite loading and printer recognition issues

This is my first 3D printer, and I’m three days into my experience with it. My problems may be user error or a feeder issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve placed four filaments in the CFS, but all of them feed only halfway through the PFTE tubes. I then have to manually feed them the rest of the way to the toolhead filament hub.

Once there, the printer shows only the first bay. The other three don’t appear, as if they don’t exist at all.

Have I done something wrong?

The printer shows no error message on the display?
You should not have to feed them manually.

If you just leave it as it loads it and set the filament type and color in the menu on the touchscreen and start printing, what happens?

No, there is no error showing. If I let it self-load, all four filaments stop about halfway through the PFTE tubes, the screen throws no errors, and when I press “Load”, it reads “Please insert filament.”

Looks like you’re in single spool mode, make sure your CFS lite is plugged into the i7 using the provided 485 express cable.

Once it’s plugged in the feed should automatically trigger and you’ll see LEDs at the top for each loaded filament.

REMEMBER, DO NOT CONNECT/DISCONNECT THE 485 CABLES WITH PRINTER ON, YOU CAN IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE THE PRINTER OR THE CFS.

ALWAYS TURN OFF THE PRINTER BEFORE MOVE THE CABLES.

Thank you for your response. I can confirm I am using the provided 485 cable and all four lights are working at the top of the CFS Lite.

Any other ideas?

I’m happy to report the issue has been resolved. I can’t take any credit for it, though. I had some work done at the house today, and the power kept being turned on and off. Apparently, cycling the power up and down multiple times did the trick. Thank you both for the recommendations and guidance.
