CFS not inserted

Hello guys,

I have few problems who i could need some help. I bought new the Creality HI with CFS kit. I installed everything how the manualls said, but my CFS only blinks red non stop. In the app and programm on the PC it says CFS not inserted, i have a lot of Filaments from Polymaker because i read that should work. But I can’t select the Filament name on the app. The only option i have is to place my Spool holder and do it with that. But why should i do it, i wanna have my 3-4 Colors prints. I don’t know whats the issuse.

to the Specs of the Filaments are:
Polymaker (polyterra) PLA 1. 75mm in 1000g different colors
Creality Filament PLA+ 1.75 mm 1000g black.

it worked 1 time and i did a test print, i had to go and turned it off after it was done, but after i came back CFS was just blinking in red. In the Printer is a yellow symbol maybe indication that CFS is not working?

Check that all the cables are snug in their sockets and that there’s no tension on any of them. I’d placed the buffer box at the top of the gantry arm (as per box photo) but found that the cable length wasn’t quite enough to plug in within a slight stretch - had same symptoms as you. My solution was to lift the CFS box an inch or 2 which solved things.

Fixed it: I think one cable needed one bit more of a push and i turned every setting down in the CFS setting, did a restart, and now it works. It detectes My filaments, but the only concern is, on the CFS display it only shows 1 of 4. But i think it’s not so important.
