Friday morning I received notification of a firmware update for my 2 month old K2 and CFS which I ran with no issues. But now, when I try to do a print or even just an extrude command from the K@, the filament does not feed in to the tube, it actually runs in reverse and the filament retracts all the way out and I receive an error on the CFS. I have tested to make sure it wasn’t a clog or anything or an issue with the buffer, I used the same tube as the cfs with the same filament on the external spool and it was able to extrude with no issues. Is there a way to factory reset the CFS? Is this a known issue that may be addressed shortly?
It is thinking there is some filament in the CFS between the top and bottom feeder.
One of the filament detectors has an issue. On the bottom is a pcb with four light barriers.
In my case I was able to heat them up with a heat gut to 40-50°C and the LED turned on for two barriers. So they bend when getting warm and the photo diode on one side is not able to see the other side`s LED.
I bend them slightly towards and since then I am fine.
i think you can doing the actual factory reset for the k2…maybe it also does the cfs as the update for the cfs comes through the k2 second day of me having the k2 i got an update for the cfs it just updated through the k2…not even available on the creality site like the k2 older firmware’s
