trying to change color during printing. In the slicer i select the place to change. The printer stopped and homes and retracts the old filament.
My problem is. How do I extrude the new color. There seems to be no option on the display.
I have looked all over the net and they say to extrude but I don’t have that option
You need to manually replace the filament, change them to the color you want, and then manually feed the filament
Yes it stopped retracted the filament. I remove the colour get the new color feed it into the printer and nothing happens
Has anyone a step by step example?
I am using the orca slicer.
It stops at the correct point. It automatically retracts the filament. It beeps at me. The screen is on the print screen giving me option to tune/pause/cancel options. I can’t get to the prepare screen that has the extrude option. If I leave it it beeps again and tries to print again
Are you using a PAUSE command to change color? It is the only way I could get it to work
