Hi, i have an issue when i do a print.
After the first layer, the k1 makes dots to fill in the gaps.
After that, my extruder starts clicking and it seems the nozzle is clogged.
If i am fast enough i can pull out the pla, cut a little piece of and feed it back in the extruder which upon the printer prints fine till the end.
I’m using cfs (problem also present before cfs upgrade)
E-sun pla, unicorn nozzle, no extra upgrades.
temp nozzle @ 230 (tried reducing it to 210 same result)
bed temp @ 50
Also tried different kind of pla, straight from the dryer, new ones, dif brands.
last but not least, i also did multiple system reset and calibratians to no avail.
Any thoughts are welcome to sort my problem out, thank you.
Hi MP,
Had the same problem on my V3 PLUS (think it’s the same type of printhead) the noise came from the extruder gears slipping on the filament and not being able to feed it correctly into the nozzle. Check that there are no sharp bends on the PTFE-tube and that the filament can run through without to much resistance ( I belive this is the root cause to the problem)
Remove the nozzle and then take out the extruder motor and inspect the gears and clean them and the feed-through holes for the filament. On my V3 the PLUS there were plastic gears which I replaced whith metal ones. I also moved the runout sensor to a top position making it possible to use a much shorter PTFE-tube. Hope this can help you get going again!
That is not the problem here.
somehow my nozzle keeps clogging.
when i do a test benchy on example with hyper-pla, it prints fine, but when i do a flexi design, it starts clogging at aprox 75% of the first layer.
also did a complete renew on the presets in the slicer and tried different slicers but to no avail.
still keeping clogged.
