Hi all, just started my first print on a brand-new Ender-3 V3 SE with the included white PLA. Everything is set up correctly in Cura (0.20 mm layer, CR-PLA, 200 °C / 60 °C), but during a movement (mostly Y-axis), I hear a squeaking noise. The print seems okay so far, but I want to address this.

Has anyone experienced this on a new machine? Any tips? Lubrication, belt tension, rollers? I’d love suggestions from more experienced users. Seems to be the thing at the end of the video? Is this correct?
Thanks!
Hello @dethleffson
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
I didn’t hear anything unusual in your video. Heard some clicks toward the end but nothing I thought would be anything to worry about.
Since it’s a new machine I would recommend you go over it and check to make sure everything is tightened and installed properly. I’ve seen instances of extruder parts and other assemblies not properly set up and cause problems later on.
Hello and thank you
Really? Always when the printer do these fast movement from TOP LEFT to BOTTOM RIGHT e.g. while printing, it clicks. That’s normal? Regarding screws, i tightened all of them but the two silver ones at the picture are very lose and I have a feeling they shouldn’t be tightened?
Another video from the first print i’ve done: https://youtube.com/shorts/j_VJZTcfvHY?feature=share
I don’t have that particular printer but I’m thinking those bolts shouldn’t be that loose. At least snug but not real tight. Someone here with that printer might know better…
I tightened them as well, as you said. the clicking is still there. I adjusted the center wheel based on that video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yvuZRbpL2A&t=2s
Probably its too lose now?
Unfortunately, the problem still persists. I’ve tried almost everything and have now narrowed it down to this movement, see video. I notice the most noticeable vibration of the click or squeak on the printer itself, but it’s triggered when the upper belt moves quickly: https://youtube.com/shorts/mdLYtiwA13E?feature=share
