Would appreciate some help I scan different objects using the software with my otter light and everything is fine. The only problem is it’s never oriented correctly and when I upload the file to my printer software, it’s not clipped to the printing plate since the bottom of the model is never represented as the bottom. Do you have any recommendations thank you very much in advance !
The latest Creality Scan software has a manual rotation function built in now, you can orient the model there. However it is easier to use the lay flat option in the slicer and select a suited surface to place it on.
I’m using Creality Scan 4 and my icons and colour scheme look nothing like the picture you uploaded.. is there another program? What slicer do you use? Thanks for helping.
Yes that is from the Slicer. OrcaSlicer or Creality Print have this, it’s just much faster because you just select a side to lay it on.
