Hi all,
I am an owner of the Creality Hi. After printing 10 times without any issues, I began experiencing a problem with the X-axis. The issue is not due to the incorrect positioning of the webcam cover, as I have already read about on the forum, nor is it resolved by performing a reset.
The problem occurs randomly; sometimes it happens after 5-10 minutes of printing, other times after an hour. It seems as if sudden friction develops on the X Axis, which then cannot move smoothly in certain areas of the X Axis.
How can I resolve this? What could it be caused by?
Thank you in advance.
I’m having the same issue, code CM2789 and it is a problem with the X axis restriction but its also because the Z axis does not seem to be advancing to the next layer and to test this during printing nudging the z offset up there seems to be no response to the height and the nozzle digs into the current layer. if the print is cancelled and I command z travel there seems to be no issue, I also thought it was a connector on the left or right Z motor, but both work properly. I am looking for a solution to this problem as well.
For the X-axis issue, I managed to resolve it by dismantling the axis, removing the washers that hold the belt, and reinstalling them (the same ones - I didn’t replace them), after applying the metal grease provided in the printer package. In doing so, I also adjusted the belt. I used the metal grease on the lower part of the axis as well (the “silver” part, to clarify).
So far, I have completed another 10+ prints without any problems.
As for the Z-axis issue, I am not able to provide any input at the moment.
