Colour being ignored?

As a newbie I’ve only printed single colour things up to now. I’m trying to simple test piece, a name badge with my name on a rectangular panel. I’ve loaded green petg for the panel and black petg for the text. I produced the .stl file using OpenScad, imported into the Linux version of CrealityPrint, and printed it. The text is embedded into the top of the panel, and 0.2mm proud. When the print finished, the text is in green, so there has been no switch of colour. I can’t find anything in the online documentation that helps.

Happy to try any suggestions.

Just discovered that OpenScad does not suooprt colour in STL files!

Back to the drawing board….

Exactly, you must to manually paint on OrcaSlicer or any Sclicer you use the parts of the model you want of different color.

You can export different SVG per color and then import them as object on the slices. but that is too much work import your SVG and paint it on slicer.
