Good morning everyone; I have a CR-10 from 2020, and until now I’ve always used Simplify3D to print and – to be honest – over the years I’ve managed to set it up perfectly for my expectations.
Unfortunately, that slicer is obsolete, and I would like to finally switch to Creality Print, but I have forgotten how to configure the parameters well, and I have tried to replicate them on CP but have no confidence or results.
I’ve been looking everywhere for someone to share their profile, and so I’m here asking: is there anyone who like me has a simple CR-10, and would be willing to share their profiles? So far I have always used PLA, but I would also like to use PETG. Thank you to those who will help me. M.
I have had the original CR-10 since new, around 8 years ago, it has been used regularly throughout that time. Never had a problem, I replaced the hotend with a cheap one years ago as the original clogged. I change the nozzles, I have a bag of cheap ones. I replaced the glass a month ago, and the rollers a week ago. PLA(214C) and PLA+(218C) stick to the bed (50C) perfectly.
I have always used Cura, they have a profile for the CR-10. and the standard settings are great. I just change the infill, and tweak a few other settings, and everything comes out brilliantly.
The printer has been amazing, and still is. The only reason I would buy another is for faster prints, but it would have to be a K1 Max, or a Qidi Plus4, due to my need for a large print bed.
