CR 10 Smart Pro

Hi, Before I begin, please note that I am 68yo and suffering early stages of Dementia.

I have CR10 Smart Pro, as with all the creality printers and engravers I have had, it has worked perfectly until a couple of weeks ago.
I setup my printer to do one of my projects and as usual, left it to do the work. An hour or so later when I returned to check the progress, it had not started printing and the HB warning was on the screen.
After research I found it was the PID problem. As per Creality instructions, I used Pronerface to change the settings.
I found the Bed Heater was working perfectly but the hotend was giving faults and will not change, even tried on the printer interface, would not save
I replaced the hotend with a new one (genuine Creality) Updated the Firmware on both screen and main board and Checked all connection leads and tried again.
I was getting the same results, The hotend PID would not change even after I had sent the ‘M500’ command.
I tried to have one more go today but now, Pronerface will not connect to my printer.
I have tried all ports and it will not connect.
Could this be a problem with th Printers Main Board, The warranty ran out a couple of months back so if it is the main board, I would have to get a new one.
I have had many printers in the past, Even one of the very early enders, the one with the wood frame. I have found Creality very reliable so this is the first time a major problem has happened.
Any help with my problem will be very much appreciated.
