CR 10S home and bed levelling issue

Hi, so today I bought a second hand, un-used, but assembled CR10-S (I believe).
I followed an assembly video on YouTube to ensure that it looked like the previous owner had assembled it correctly and it all looked alright from a new owner’s perspective…
However when I try to use the auto home or bed levelling function, it climbs up to the top right hand corner of the frame and gets stuck, and makes a loud clicking noise for a while then stops.
I’m completely new to 3D printing.

Sounds like its not triggering the limit switch, check that something isnt blocking it

I have been working on leveling my bed to print for a month now and still cant seem to do it. very frustrating not sure what to do
