CR-Scan Ferret Pro to TinkerCAD

Hello, I am having some trouble with scans looking like junk in TinkerCAD, but will look perfectly fine anywhere else. For example, a scan I did a few weeks ago will look perfect in Creality Scan, Creality Print, and Fusion 360. However the exact same scan looks horrible when brought into TinkerCAD. I know that Tinker is a very basic CAD system and has its limitations (file size and triangle counts). I prefer to use TinkerCAD for simple designs, especially when I am away from home and only have my laptop. My laptop can run Fusion, but it’s a struggle. Take a look at the pictures of what I am talking about. All photos are of the same model, just imported into various programs.

If anyone knows of a way to get scans to appear in TInkerCAD the way they do in other programs, I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice! So far nothing I have tried has made much of a difference.

Open the file in the slicer again, right click on the model and do the repair there, then export it again.
Did you select that the model is closed when generating the mesh in Creality Scan?

On this particular scan, I did not select closed. This is because this is a scan of my push mower’s grass clipping chute and my goal was to use this scan to design a different style chute guard that wouldn’t clog up as much as the factory one does.

Overall, you’re saying to export from Creality Scan, open the STL in Creality Print to fix the mesh, export, and open in Tinker or something?

If you export it closed it should be fine, now you have a STL with holes in it because you didn’t. This can be fixed by various tools, but the easiest is the function in the slicer. After that you can upload it to TinkerCAD again.
