CR Touch and Bed tilt

I’ve just installed a CR touch on my ender 3 v2 and its working OK after some faffing about trying to install the new firmware, but I am left with a question or two.

The first question is how much tilt can the cr touch compensate for in the bed.

The next question that comes up is, are walls of a print vertical to the bed or vertical to the Z axis.

Hi @Bill and welcome to the forums.

Generally the printers are able to cancel out a fair degree of variation but it is always recommended to ensure all four corners of the bed are level and equal using the paper method before relying on the probing of the bed. Ignore the center of the bed and get all four corners level and even and you should be fine.

In regards to the walls of the print, they will always usually be in line with the Z axis, ensuring you have a level bed as mentioned above will help prevent any skewing or leaning during the print.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for that I think I was having a senior moment when I wrote the questions.
