Turned on a day later and it’s in Chinese. Change the language settings and try to run a print and the head starts probing off the bed and then trying to drill through the build plate. Doesn’t seem to even try and level the bed.
Now it won’t accept any new firmware (the probe offset never changes). The SD card is working as I can try and run a print.
Any ideas? I’ve tried to install firmware via Cura but you can only install . hex not .bin via a PC.
So it’s currently bricked as I can’t even revert it by removing the CR Touch.
4.2.7 mainboard (worked fine with the Ender-3 Pro- Marlin2.0.1 - V1.0.1 - TMC2225 - English.bin firmware)
I installed the CR Touch (YES I disconnected the Zstop switch), Installed the firmware (Marlin2.0.1 BLtouch V1.3.1 - BLTouch - TMC2225.bin) and hit the switch. when the screen came up, the CR Touch started buzzing and the red light was lit. The probe did NOT extend.
I immediately hit the power off, studied a few videos to make sure I didn’t have the plug in backwards (it’s in correctly) then tried again. Same thing. red light and buzzing.
I shut down, and promptly brought the issue here, the fount of all knowledge.
UPDATE: The buzzing is from the alarm behind the display
Ignoring that, I tried to do the auto home in the BLTouch tab
X & Y went to zero then to center of the bed. Z went up 50 or so MM. then stopped. “The display also said “STOPPED”.
