Hi All

I’ve had my Ender V2 Neo for about 4 years now and apart from operator errors, until last December when the CR Touch failed. I bought a new one (just before Christmas from Creality, fitted it and brilliant, everything working.

Last week the CR Touch has failed again, the probe will not come out.

I tried the usual, checked plugs, then checked the cables with a continuity tester and finally I tried pulling the probe out with tweezers.

I contacted Creality who advised me that it was past the 3-month return and therefore I would need to purchase a new one.

So, in essence, Creality only give their CR Touch a 3-moth life span!!!

I’m not sure if I can replace this with another Make/Model or if anyone has a workaround, but any help will be gratefully received.

Check the cable strain relief, usually when probe comes out during a print is due loose connection and power cycle trigger the probe which cause probe to deploy and crash and bent the pin. The bent pin is most common issue, causing not to trigger anymore. You can open its and pull pin out to try straighten it.

If you do order another CR Touch, the time it comes in, tell the vendor it doesn’t work and send the old one in for a replacement. At least you will have a backup then.
