CR10 Pauses Mid-Print Only with Creality Print Slicer

Hi,

I’m experiencing an issue with my CR10 printer that only occurs when I slice a model using the Creality Print slicer. During prints, the printer pauses unexpectedly without showing any errors. This issue does not happen when I slice the same model using other slicers like Creality cloud slicer.
Details of the issue:
• The print starts normally and runs fine for a while.
• Then, the printer pauses as if it received a “pause” command.
• The temperatures (hotend and bed) remain stable, and there is no temperature drop.
• No error messages are displayed on the printer or the software.

Additional notes:
• My firmware is up to date.
• I used the default settings in Creality Print for slicing.
• The issue doesn’t occur with models sliced using other slicers.

I suspect that the problem might be related to the G-Code generated by Creality Print. Is it possible that an unnecessary command (like M0, G4, or similar) is being added to the G-Code or that some slicing settings are causing this behavior?

Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Hello @demirmehmet0 …!

Welcome to the Creality Forum…! Creality

Haven’t had this happen yet… :crossed_fingers:
On a normal pause command (In Creality Print) the nozzle moves off to the side, nozzle temp drops but the bed temp stays the same.

This looks like some other slicer setting might be causing this. Not sure but double check all you slicer settings.

Hello,

I’ve checked the settings and even completely uninstalled and reinstalled the application, but the result is still the same. I’m using the default settings for printing.

Is the model you are slicing a .3mf or an .stl file…?

A .3mf file will have info in it for color and other things.

Model is the stl file.
