Hi, extremely new to 3d printers here, bought my first ever a few days ago, I set it up fine with the help of a friend that has alot of experience with 3d printers, Everything seems to work fine besides the occasional hicccup when leveling. The main issue im having is that when I try to print something The printer will heat up to the temperature, Move the nozzle to the left and the bed back until it clicks, then it looks like its getting ready to start printing but then the nozzle raises a little and stays there for the entire duration, In the end it will actually go through the pront progress extremely fast and then present me with the “finished print” which is just an empty bed. I have actually gotten it to print and lay down fillament only one time and even then it wasnt even a good print so i stopped it before it wasted more filament. I am in desperate need of any assistance, any and all help would be greatly appriciated as I dont want to feel like i just wasted 400 dollars getting into a hobby thats too complex for me
Bad first print is a bonus, but it sounds like the z-offset is out. Failed prints after could be a clog stopping the filament coming through. Clear that first and then work on getting the z-offset right.
The real issue im having is it wont even start printing, it only printed that one time and it was probably because the leveling was bad but my main issue im having is it just gives up, it starts probing once i oress print, it looks like its about to start and then sort of centers itself and just sits there. Even after reaching the desired temperature it just stays still, eventually the progress bar fills up but its still not even moving
I am now having the same problem. I just moved and re-set up the printer. Network is connected. Printer levels properly both manually and via auto. It will not print from the memory card nor from the cloud. the cloud connects OK and shows printing progress but the printer just sits there with the head in the middle. The cloud (v6.3.0.3420) shows everything is fine. Any help would be appreciated.
seems like a firmware issue, try flashing the firmware and make sure you are using the SD card and dont print from the cloud. The file transfer from your phone or your computer to your printer might not be working. so try printing from a physical SD card.
