Creality BEN2C NAUTILUS FAN DUCT

Hi, I have fitted the Creality BEN2C NAUTILUS FAN DUCT to my K1max. Yes, the fan noise is quieter, you can minimize the speed of the hot-end fan and achieve good quality.

Unfortunately, after installation there were several errors during printing, the extruder no longer fed the filament to the needle (I thought). But it was different, the needle clogged because the temperature at the nozzle tip cooled down so much that the filament became solid. I still had the fan running at 100%, now I’m at 70% with good results.

I have found that with the Nautilus Fan Duct you have to increase the filament temperature by 20 degrees Celsius to avoid this printing error.

So, now my question:

  1. has anyone had similar experiences?

  2. does the filament care if I heat it up to 20 degrees higher? I am currently printing with Creality CR Wood filament and it smells a bit burnt.

Best regards effjot
