Creality Ender -3 V3 KE - printing problems

Hi - Help plese

My printer Ender -3 V3 KE regularly stops s printing half way through a job or fails to start it. The nozzle keeps moving but the plastic the should be getting heated up and used to do the printing gets jammed in the feeder and stops coming through to the nozzle. It happens most times I try to print anything - There is no blob of doom just a kink in the feed thats stops it moving - I have tried reloading the feed several times. Any advice welcome Simon

The easy fix is to replace your filament. Sometimes a bad filament blocks the extruder.
The difficult fix is :
1 .Disassemble the extruder part,
2. check the tension of the springs,
3. Check he wear of the gears,
4. Check the teflon tube for pieces of filament.
5. Also have the nozzle a good clean.

I have replaced my extruder gears once, the nozzle once, and even now, some filaments do not retract when i want to replace filament spool. I’ve also find pieces of stacked filament in the teflon tube.

See if that works.

Hi

This sounds like heat creep, check the hotend fan is working.

If heat goes beyond the heat break then the filament will soften too soon and stop extrusion.

You can try to add new thermal paste to the heat break this may solve the issue.
