Creality Ender 3v3: Filament Clogg

I have been printing since August and have been doing well until recently when I witnessed a clog in my printer. It was a minor blob that was easier to clean up the first time. Now that I have disassembled the print head I have another issue with the circuit board and wires not where they are supposed to be. I have leftover goop from the filament on the print head’s circuit board.

Do you have a pic of the problem?

Ouch…Looks like one of the pins has broken off the board, If that’s the case, I think you need a new board.

Yes that’s what I’ve been told by several people who have seen the damage. Someone from this forum said it’s not that hard its just time consuming.

The cost of the repair isn’t looking to bad either. It’s about a $30-ish repair

Yes-you just need to replace the board and plug in the connectors. Creality might replace the board for you. Others on this forum know how best to contact Creality-I haven’t had to do that.

Please let us know what happens…always good to know this stuff.

Yes that could be the case. I’ve found most of the parts on Amazon but haven’t gotten the chance to order them. And yes as you said I will be posting my updates on how much of my progress I have seen.

Hey there MikeV3, I just wanted to let this chat know that I ordered the parts to repair my 3d printer. Should be here soon. I’ll be sure to post when I get it completed.

Thanks for update. Did
you order a new exruder circuit board?

I’m not entirely sure what my dad had ordered he told me he ordered the parts we needed. Never told me the specific parts
