Creality Falcon 2 22W Not Homing Properly

Hi everyone,

I’ve been encountering some issues with my Creality Falcon 2 22W and I’m hoping someone here might have some insights or solutions.

  1. Homing Issue:
    When I hit the home button, the laser head moves very slowly and eventually homes after a prolonged period of time. It’s not a smooth or normal homing procedure, and the delay is noticeable. Is there something wrong with my machine, or is this a known issue? I’ve checked the wiring and all seems connected correctly.
  2. LightBurn Connectivity:
    I’m also facing trouble when trying to use LightBurn. The machine doesn’t seem to work properly with it, and there are no errors in the LightBurn console. I’ve tried resetting the software and the machine, but the issue persists. However, when I switch to LaserGRBL, the laser does work, though it still seems to have some hiccups.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with homing or LightBurn on the Falcon 2? If so, what troubleshooting steps did you take to resolve them? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

When opening LightBurn have a look towards the bottom-right. There should be a TAB named: Start From".
Make sure it is set to “Absolute Coords”.

The Absolute Coords is supposed to send the laser module back to the starting point where there are “reset” switches. You must also make sure that LightBurn is correctly set to where this “home” is. Left Front? Right Front? or any of the Rear corners?

Creality normally uses the left front as it’s home position.
