Weβre thrilled to officially announce the Creality M1 & R1 β launching soon on Indiegogo!
The M1 & R1 form the first desktop system that does two things: recycle your waste plastic back into usable filament, and let you create your own custom filament from scratch β Waste In. Filament Out. Defined by You.

This is Amazing!!! Itβll be a great solution for recycling purge waste. If Iβm not mistaken, Creality may be the first out of the big 3D Printer brands to introduce a desktop filament recycling system of their own. If this works as intended and is released at a price that makes sense for hobbyists/smaller print farms, itβll be a huge hit. Many of us have tried DIY solutions but the results obtained are, more often than not, extremely inconsistent. I look forward to seeing how all of this plays out
P.S - For a moment I thought that adding walnut shells was supposed to be some April Fools Joke Only to realise that weβre still in Marchβ¦ Literally got me to check the date there.
I am REALLY looking forward to adding this to my small print farm! My deposit is in and Iβve been saving my scraps in color separated buckets for a year since I used to melt them down into molds. Now Iβll save them for the M1
this is awesome, will be a huge money saver too and with no more waste you donβt feel as bad about throwing away so much plastic which is good for the environment! would one be able to make lets say mix up colours or make colour changing filament (multicolour)?
Looking forward to seeing some of the custom filament people make with this. I saw in one of the YouTube reviews that you can make your own gradient filament by changing the colour during extrusion.
Also, hope the extruder is easy to remove and clean because that is a common requirement when extruding plastic. Sometimes you need to clear and flush the extruder before changing filament type production. You also can encounter clogs, which will need you to strip the screw and extruder out and flush the failure.
I want to try the scented - I honestly had NO idea that was even a thing!
I have plenty of Essential Oils and pigments (I used with my 3D Resin Printer).
This looks very interesting. Just wanting to clarify, if I choose to pay discount for the grinder and filament maker, is the $800 the deposit or the cost for the devices?
This is going to be a game changer to have the chance to make our own filament and reuse all the amount of poop we ctry to store away for this reason. This looks an amazing machine for this job and i am looking forward to one day getting my hands on one to test out and review if i get the chance. Please Creality
