Creality Hi - BM0111 error, no power to hotend board and CFS

Hi everyone,

I have a Creality Hi printer that has been sitting unused for a few months. When I power it on, I get error BM0111 (Nozzle connection abnormal) immediately. The screen loads very slowly before showing the error, the bed doesn’t move, and no fans spin.

Here is what I have checked:

No blue LED on the hotend circuit board even with only the main cable connected

The CFS (multi-spool unit) also receives no power from its proprietary port

All cables and connectors disconnected and reconnected carefully

CFS disconnected entirely — no change on the error

Mainboard looks clean, no burn marks, no cold solder joints visible

Power supply green LED is on (24V OK)

Mainboard blue LEDs are on and blinking normally

USB port delivers power normally

Everything seems fine visually but both the hotend board and the CFS receive no power. I have no multimeter available.

Has anyone solved this exact issue? Could it be the toolhead cable or a specific component on the mainboard?

Thanks a lot

You already did quite some investigations, best shot would be to find a multimeter somewhere to check if power is delivered to the hot-end board or CFS.
I doubt it will be the cables, since then you would have 2 damaged cables or connectors. Is there damage visible on the cables?

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your reply!
No visible damage on the cables. Everything looks clean visually.
The reason both hotend board and CFS have no power could also be that the firmware cuts power to both ports when BM0111 is triggered at startup — is that possible on the Creality Hi?
I will try to get a multimeter tomorrow to test voltage on the hotend cable directly at the board connector.

Hi! I’m facing the same problem! My Creality hi is still under warranty, and they sent me a nozzle cable and a new hotend board, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. I’m still having the same problem."

Did you find the solution or the problem?
