creality hi extruder trouble during calibration

Hello,
I have a Creality Hi that I’ve been using since January 2026.
I’ve just replaced the hotend block kit, and the installation went smoothly, except when I turn the machine back on.

I get an error saying it cannot perform the calibration because there was filament in the extruder.
So I disassembled the extruder, but there was no filament stuck inside.
I reassembled everything, but the same issue persists. I then performed a factory reset.
However, the problem still appears right after selecting the language: the calibration won’t start because the printer thinks there is filament in the extruder.

I tested the extruder’s filament entry with a small piece of filament, and the blue light turns on and off when I insert or remove it (so the filament sensor seems to be working).

Thank you for your help.

its seems to be a problem with a cable or sensor, are you sure you didnt disconnect any cable and or damaged one cable that connect to the printhead motherboard?

Hello, I check 3 times and I don’t have cable disconnected.
One time, error happen when all extruder cable was disconnected.
It will be the printhead motherboard?
How can I be sure?

i would first try to replace the filament sensor board, a super small board that im sure it woudl cost you less money than the printhead motherboard
