My Creality Hi comes with a spare Nozzle Wipper, the one on the bed was not the better but if you kept a eye on it, did the work, sometime around the 50 hours of printing stop working fine. So I took the spare one and replace it, BUT, the spare one on the original package already had some «teeth» missing:
so I put it to work like that, and ordered a new one set from Creality’s Amazon Store; (15 USD plus shipping)!!!
The new ones where no better than the «spare» one:
They are flimsy and the teeth on some are already broke from the base.
the spare worked for 10 hours and the first one of the «original» replacement pack do not work for more than 15 hours!
For the rescue I got a pack of 10 generic ones which are the exact same width and high but 1.5 the length or original ones (so they will be 15 pieces at end); they where 4.5 USD (shipping included).
just cut to the length of originals and put on the printer
This one has been on my printer for 20 hours now and no teeth fell off, and a clean nozzle on each print, no more little bit of previous filament on the new prints.
Seriously Creality, you can do it better this is a consumable and we love the brand; we try to use original ones but THEY DO NOT WORK! and cheaper ones works like a charm.
