Creality Hi WiFi Failing

I just received and setup my Creality Hi Combo and so far, it’s exceeded my expectations, with the exception of WiFi. I cannot get it to connect to my network no matter what I try, below is a list of what I’ve done;

Updated the firmware

Assigned a static IP to the MAC address on the router

Allowed that MAC address to only have access to the 2.4GHz network

Reset to factory, multiple times

Attempted to enter an incorrect password followed by the correct password

I have power cycled the printer and the router multiple times

Tried entering the SSID manually, doing this, did not return an error, making me think it was connected, but a quick check on my router showed it had never accessed the network, but the printer had the WiFi icon lit up

I have turned the 5GHz radio off, so that only 2.4GHz was broadcasting

The printer is about 10 feet away from the router with a clear line of sight, the only thing between the two is a wooden table and air.

I am out of ideas of what to try. I have thought about grabbing an old router to see if the printer could actually connect to something and that it might not be able to pass the passphrase as typed. I’m hoping someone has an idea or suggestion on how to connect this printer to the network.

Does your SSID have a space in the name at all?

No, the SSID has no spaces or special characters or numbers. The passphrase only contains letters and numbers with no special characters or spaces, it does contain upper and lower case letters. My router is also set for WPA2 Personal.

Any news by now?

I ran into some strange WiFi issues too. I am able to connect to my WiFi,but the printer does not save the PW. So when I’m restarting the Hi I always have to choose the network and enter the PW again. All other functions work great. I already tried to downgrade and upgrade the firmware via USB and reset to factory setting without any effort. The support tells me to check my network but it’s only 2,4ghz and 2mrs away from the router. Also the K1C is standing beside and works with this WiFi without any issues since day 1.

If there is any updates I will post it here.

The MAC address that is displayed on the Hi in the System : About menu, that MAC address is incorrect, at least on my machine it is. I had to watch all the connection attempts on my router to find the correct MAC address for the printer and once I found it, I entered it into the 2.4Ghz only band and I have had no problems. It’s strange that the printer would display the wrong MAC address, I would have assumed an issue like that would be resolved before the machines ever went into production.

Bro, I’m having the same problem with WIFI not working.
I have already updated to all firmware versions and it seems that the WIFI connection is lost. I connect to my network, the screen shows the IP address but I can’t connect it to either the Creality Print or the Orca Slicer with port :4408… I really don’t know what else to do!
When it arrived with old firmware and I did the first update to make it possible to access native WIFI on it, the connection was first rate… now with the new firmware (.50 and .60) it is experiencing this instability that appears to be connected to the network but does not communicate with any slicer!

Creality, please resolve this urgently with a stable firmware version!
