My Creality K1 run out sensor is not working. Well more specifically, my prints do no pause when the filament runs out. I have tried researching the issue, but thus far I cannot find anything about an easy way to enable or disable the runout sensor on the print screen or in the creality print app. I opened the sensor and it does have a blue LED that illuminates when plugged in, but doesnt do anything what I engage the switch (to simulate the filament running out). Does anyone have an east fix suggestion? That is to get my filament run-out sensor working again?
I would also be interested in learning more about adding a “kinetic” filament sensor. That is a sensor that detect filament flow rather than just if the filament is present. I am not to knowledgeable on how to change the print config file though. I am handy at basic re-wiring though. Thanks!
