Creality K1C with CFS keeps crashing?

Hello everyone and happy holidays!

I purchased the CFS kit for my K1C and it works, but I’m trying to print a multifilament model and every time it has to change filament, it freezes with error “FR2836.” To fix it, I have to retract the filament, cut it at a 45-degree angle, and then it starts again, but the next time it changes filament and returns to the previous one, it freezes again. This makes the CFS completely useless…

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Do you have any solutions?

Thank you all very much!

I have the same problem. No clog, nothing inside the extruder. I tried the a new extruder, i changed the nozzle, re-initialized the machine. And still have no filament going thru it. The onnly thing i did try it changing the motor. I was planning to buy another machine later but with all the problems that i have with this one, i will go to another brand for sure. I’m very desapointed… The only answer that everybody give: it’s a cloging problem. But when the extruder is brand new and you have the same problem, sorry, it’s not a clogging problem…

But it can’t be an extruder problem, because if I put the filament in directly without going through the CFS, there’s no problem!

The CFS is literally brand new, only a few days old lol.

I had this issue, filament seemed to be going in, but the detection light didn’t come on and it gave me an error. I got frustrated and grabbed the ptfe tube and jiggled it a little and to my surprise the filament popped in and off it went. I had cut my ptfe too short and the filament was at too extreme of an angle to get to the extruder itself. So perhaps a longer tube is the answer, seems to be working for me.
