I bought a K2 Plus Combo set just before Christmas and have been loving it. It’s been producing fast clean prints in PLA, PETG, ABS and even TPU. It’s been on and printing more than it’s been off.
Then about 3 weeks ago I was stricken with endless nozzle clogs, one after another for no apparent reason. I tried everything. I went through 4 new nozzles which would work fine for a few hours and then clog regardless of what material I was printing. Last week after installing yet another new nozzle I started a print, it finished with reasonably good quality but to my surprise the PTFE tube was dangling loose. It had come off the extruder and would not stay put when reinstalled.
The grip ring in the pneumatic connector on the extruder has slowly been falling apart and the pieces have ended up in the nozzle causing my clogs. Unfortunately the pneumatic connector seems to be molded into the extruder housing. I have a new one on order and hope to be happily printing again very soon.
I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem. It sure would be nice if that connector could be easily replaced without having to replace the extruder housing.
