I don’t know if this will be helpful to you, but I encountered this problem, by accident. The problem was the wrong type of nozzle selected in the CP settings.
If you are using a custom print profile then try it and check on the default settings.
Thanks Luten, I did change the nozzle type to harden steel, Did not alter the error message. Started v5.1 today for another print and the software crashed and lost all printer configurations I have deleted 5,1 and returned to 5.0. I may try for a clean install later.
im liking everything about the new 5 and 5.1 only thing is those darn presets are gone for all the printers. I used a one of the 4 they had selectable that was close to what I have and altered the setting they had in the preset to the ones I have in other slicers mostly I used reality print 4.x and got my basic settings from there.
I get the same error, and I had other issues with 5.1 as well. I went back to 5.0, other than an occasional crash, it’s worked fine for me. I’ll wait until they work more of the bugs in 5.1.
Software crashes randomly, some time doesn’t allow for opening gcode files, losses connection to the cloud and connection to the printer including camera fails.
Just tried v5.1.1.9490 and it crashed my K1 about 1 minute into a print. K1 is at the latest firmware. I also got the message “… slicing machine is inconsistent with printer model…”. I guess it means don’t use 5.1. So I don’t. Switched back to 5.0. So glad the 5.1 install didn’t remove 5.0.
Getting the same message after using Creality Print v5.1.1.9490. Error does not happen in v5.0. Really annoying that you can’t export filament settings from v5.0. Using a K1C
