The temperature settings for Creality Print’s Generic ABS profile is 260 degrees C for the hot end, and 100 degrees C for the bed. However slicing the model with this profile produces g-code that causes the printer to initially heat the hot end to 140 degrees C, then it rises to the set temperature of 260 degrees C, then it reduces the temperature back to 140 degrees C.
Once the hot end has cooled to 140 degrees C, the g-code causes the hot end temperature to rise again to the set temperature of 260 degrees C, and if the bed temperature has reached 100 degrees C, printing will commence.
Is the firmware adding this unnecessary g-code that results in the ramping up and down of the hot end temperature before printing commences?
