Hi, New to the forum. I was trying to use the hollow tool and not really sure I am doing it correctly or the hollow tool is what I expected. I have a model that i have split in half. I selected the hollow tool and set the thickness at 2mm and then selected hollow. It looks like it is hollowing it out not sure what I expected. I did not try to print it yet I was hoping it would show me what it did. I was thinking that the walls of what I wanted to print would be 2mm thick. I can’t find anyone posting a video or anything yet to see if I am using that tool correctly or not. Any help appreciated.
When i played with the hollow tool and also cutting the bottom off so that i could access the center i just played with the settings and would slice it to see what the result was. I was using it on a very complicated Disney castle.. and surprisingly it worked.
