Maybe I’ve gone brain dead, but for the life of me I can’t remember how to take the top layer off of all the vase models I have. Every vase I slice has a sealed top. It’s not infill because when looking at the slice, once I get past the top two layers, it’s an open vase. What has this 80 year old brain forgotten?

I don’t remember doing anything of the kind when I select vase mode (on my K2).
But, have you tried to select 0 top layers? Just to see if it changes anything.
That’s strange. Why do your vases have a sealed top? Can you be more specific or post a screenshot of the slicer setting and slice window (Windows 11 just press “print screen” and save it). What did you use to create the model? I’ve never had that issue in hundreds of vases printed.
It’s tough being old, but I can’t for the life of me find vase mode in the slicer. I’m using Creality Print 7.0. What has this stagnant brain missed?
Set your top layer equal to zero.

I can’t believe that was the easiest fix and never dawned on me. Thanks whole-heartedly.
