I am having a problem getting Creality Print to print one object at a time. I set print sequence to “By Object” and then use auto arrange to move objects to avoid collision. However when I print it goes back to printing all at once. This is driving me nuts any help appreciated.
Which version of Creality Print?
Using Creality Print the newest version 5.1.6.10470 I am having the same issue.
Maybe we are missing something here in the settings but the printer just acts like this setting doesn’t exist… Still prints the same.

I notice when you turn this on the objects show red collision zones. I thought when I hit the auto arrange button I was on to something but alas same result. Got to be a bug in the software. The reason I wanted to use this feature is because on previous multiple print the quality of the finished article is less than printing individually. I reasoned this may have something to do with cooling in between each layer and printing each object in entirety may overcome this loss of quality.
I just tested this in Orca slicer and it works just fine. Use auto arrange and then slice. It starts at the front piece and then prints the back one…
I really don’t want to use Orca slicer as I find it way to complicated. Cura also does the job apparently but when I sliced with it the job went from 6 minutes to 30 minutes. Obviously I needed to work on the profile but I don’t want the hassle. Up until now Creality Print has worked fine. I like the fact that it has all the right profiles for the Ender 3 V3. It all just works…up until now.
Got it. I use Creality Slicer most all the time. Just trying out Orca to learn it…!
Had some time on my hand and installed Orca (portable) and after a bit of googling was able to get it set up for Ender 3 V3. Must say I was really surprised to find it was almost identical to Creality Print.
Here are my results
- Single copy 6m 35s
- 6 off copy 10m 58s (print by layer)
- 6 off copy 39m 34s (print by object)
I multiplied the single copy time by 6 and it came to 38m 1s
Looking at those results I would have to say it would appear that loss of quality printing multiples by layer would be inevitable.
Thanks for pointing me to Orca. The last time I tried another slicer it was Prusa and I think that was the one I had found difficult
