I am trying to understand how this is happening and then what to do about it. I’ve been using Creality Print v7 with my K2SE for about 7 months and haven’t had a problem. I’m trying to print this small car that has Print In Place bearings for wheels. When I slice it in Creality Print the rollers end up with several voids in them at random layers. I know it’s not the STL, I can change the layer thickness from .20 to .18 to .16 and the voids jump to different rollers in different layers. I’ve sliced the same STL in Cura and there are no voids in any layers. These voids are usually 2 layers and even get overhang printed above them so the slicer sees the voids that it created as a real void. As you can imagine, the rollers just fall apart with two missing layers at random locations.
Some of the voids get applied to neighboring parts.
I like the way Creality Print works and I want to figure this out. Cura works but it’s just not the same. I’ve attached two PDF’s with screen shots of a few layers from both slicers for comparison.

Compare ALL settings of both slicers…
have you tried ‘fix model’ ? and if that does nothing, i would just add some random form to the project, then save it, then open the saved project and see if the voids are still there.
I have actually downloaded the ‘wheels STL’ and there is no such missing layers….but mine looks different than yours does.
It’s not the exact same STL? i downloaded it from the page you linked.
The one i downloaded has hexagonal holes in the rollers and one big in the very center.
How come both slicers on your side just ignore the hexagonal holes?
That design itself does not require 100% infill nor more than 5 walls, if fact i would do 0% infill
combined it reduces the printing time from 4hrs8min to just under 3hrs (ABS for filament).
I have kind of solved the problem accidentally, though I don’t know why this matters. I split the wheel into three parts, the tire, the hub and the bearings. I then exported each into separate STL’s then re-imported them all. Not a single void at that point. The software doesn’t like the part as a single part or something.
I use Fix Model on everything, so yes, it had been fixed. The part you downloaded is the original wheel that I started with and the bearing ends kept breaking apart. The one in my screen shots is a modification I made, solid centers, to try and prevent the bearings from breaking before I noticed the voids.
