Creality Print V 6.0.2.1574 - Filament Start G-Code not inserted into G-Code file!

I am using (on Orca) for some filaments which require a higher z-offset the filament-Start & End-G-Codes to define this speciality.

Example of change I do:

2025-01-25_1531211424Ɨ784 147 KB

In Orca slicer I had never a problem with that but in CP6 I find in G-Code only the FIlament End G-Code, but never the Start-G-Code!

iā€™m experiencing the same bug.
The start-gcode is only included like comments on gcode.

Same Problem here for Spoolman
SET_ACTIVE_SPOOL ID=4
CLEAR_ACTIVE_SPOOL
both dont work

Did you try latest version 6.0.5.x? It should work now.

After 6 month of Orca I just tried CRY Print again and the bug seems to persist, at least for the first filament used. Creality Print V6.3.1.3548
In a single color print no filament start g-code is inserted, but only the end g-code. In multi color prints for colors 1+ I can find filament start and end g-code.

what about fixing this bug??

You are willingly blocking us from using the most essential thing in FDM printing:
Tuning the first layer.

Also many many more things that need to be set Filament specific.

Its a shame i read this on github

Please tell me what is the purpose of using filament start gcode when printing in monochrome.

This issue is literally the only reason i now use Orca although i like CP more.

Could you do us all a favor and just fix that?
