Creality Slice slow print time.

Creality print is making my K1-Max and my K2-Plus printers print very slow. While using Orca slicer is working fine. For example while printing a stand for a smart watch Orca slicer say it will take 1 hour 6 minutes, while Creality slicer says 4 hours and 26 minutes. Did a side by side comparison and all the setting are exactly the same in Orca and Creality. Removed and reinstalled Creality and the problem remained. I am at a loss on how to fix the problem.

Could you provide the STL model file?

AS you can see same file same printer same setting 2 very different print times.

STL File
gw7-charging-stand.stl (391.7 KB)

I did notice a lot of time spent on the inner and outer walls for Creality Print. A couple hours difference there…

Do you use CP6.1? For CP5 I had same problem, print time increased several hours in slicer, with CP6.1. print time was like before.

I am using CP6.1. Everything was fine with CP5 once I upgraded to CP6.1 is when the issue came up.

The time it takes for me to slice here is about the same as that of orca, the version I’m using is CP 6.1 Windows

Could you provide the 3MF file at that time? This can more accurately locate the problem. I can’t reproduce the problem you encountered with just the stl file

I guess it might be related to the preset filament you use. u can all use generic PLA slices to see if the same problem will occur?
