Just purchased this Saturday and the Creality Slicer software keeps crashing.

This happens to me if I try to load an .3mf file. Every time. I convert to .stl and everythings works.
All my files are .stl But It crashes when opening the software. I can’t even load a part file.
Windows 11 is a fu**ing nightmare for some software! I recently had a piece of system support software generate errors thru gforce exp and the game shell. That’s like stopping for a leak at warp 9! Just shouldn’t be possible!
Can you send me a pic of your running services (I get good info thru Windows Insider plus others) and once in a while we can solve these things.
Also, these things are tracked in the Event Logs. Are you familiar with that?
In any case, the basic call would be: (this assumes no other system level software is running- Process Explorer, Norton Utilities, Ultimate Windows Tweaker, things of that ilk)
Uninstall, reboot.
run DISM etc…The best order to run these commands are:
sfc /scannow
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Reboot
***My thing- cuz reboot and shut down do such different things- Shut down, go have a smoke, coffe, brush the dog, deal with laundry, whatever- but burn off 30 min *AFTER you unplug the PC
Plug-in. take a deep breath, Power ON
? Does everything seem ok
reinstall, DO NOT run the software at this time!
Reboot
