When your using V6 you have the ability to:-
1 Save the file - overwrite
2 Save as - give new name
3 Quit - V6 overwrites existing file
However quitting saves the file (similar to Bambu studio). I find this annoying. In my mind quit means abandon.
It is normal in software programming to either abandon a file where you are not happy with the parameters OR when you load a file up and intend to play/test then you immediately save as so the original stays intact.
With so many parameters in a model I am sure people will try different parameters and without realising, when reloading next time, think that’s different.
At the moment you have no way of abandoning your work and starting again
